Precinct one out of the box…

Hot off the Press:

Gosh communication in the city so poor that I did not know that 20 metres away from my shop in High Street is going to be built a 50 shop retail precinct!

That is excellent news, I wish someone had told me months ago.

I notice an article in the Press 11.10. 2103 By Liz McDonald. Link Here:

“Thinking outside the square has led to the Boxed Quarter – a $6 million precinct for about 50 Christchurch businesses and arts groups due to open early next year.

The modular precinct is going up on the corner of Madras and St Asaph streets. It will house shops, cafes, bars, offices, music studios, and performance and exhibition spaces around laneways and public courtyards.”

How can the city advance when we have “secret squirrell” working against us???  What am I missing here?? Maybe I am drinking coffee in the wrong place.

Why the secrecy? Why the lack of communication? And what else have we not been told?

The system has failed, again.

Sigh!
